I am a native of Edgecombe County Schools, I graduated from SouthWest Edgecombe in 1987.

I proceeded to raise my family of three sons and then returned to school where, I graduated from East Carolina University 2006 with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

I teach 6th grade Language Arts at  West Edgecombe Middle School.
