Weekly Announcements 12.09 - 12.13
Please plan to join us for our Winter Performance tomorrow, Tuesday, December 10th starting at 5:30 PM at Edgecombe Community College. It is going to be a great evening for the entire family. Our scholars have put together a great show and we're looking forward to seeing you all there tomorrow night.
Attention 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade girls interested in Softball. Weather permitting, there will be optional and voluntary workouts on Tuesday, December 10th, and Wednesday, December 11th from 3:45 to 5:15 at the Armory Field behind MMA. Scholars must have an up-to-date physical on file to participate. Please dress warmly, no jeans and bring a softball glove. We will update via Thrillshare if the weather impacts these dates.
The last day of our canned food drive is this Friday, December 13th. Please seize the opportunity to serve others and donate any canned or non-perishable items to support our local Tarboro community.
Next week, December 16th - 20th, we will host a Holiday Spirit Week. We will share the themed days later this week, but encourage all to participate.

Bus 350 is running the 388 route. Again, Bus 350 is currently running the 388 route.
Good Morning! The bus route for 388 will be run as a double route this morning. A driver will run their normal route and then go pick up students for Bus 388. This will cause those students to be picked up much later than usual. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Interested in driving a bus? Contact Ms Echel.

Bus 388's route will be running early today. They will be leaving school around 1:30 which will put them at their bus stops about 1.5-2 hours early. If any changes in transportation need to be made, please call the school as soon as possible or contact your student's teacher.
Weekly Announcements 12/02 - 12/06
Mark your calendars for our annual winter performance on Tuesday, December 10th at 5:30 at the Keinhen Auditorium at Edgecombe Community College. Our 2nd and 3rd graders along with a selection of 6th, 7th, and 8th grader scholars star in "Sneezy the Snowman". This is a great show for the entire family and we hope to see you there!
Don't forget that all month long we are seizing the opportunity to serve others and lead with love in our annual canned food drive. Please send in canned food and nonperishable food items to support the Tarboro Community Outreach pantry.
In athletics this week: Basketball is away at Phillips Middle School on Thursday, December 5th. The Wrestling match schedule for this week has been postponed to a later date due to a scheduling conflict at the opposing school.
Finally, scholars on Bus 348 are now assigned to Bus 355. This si a permanent change at this time due to a shortage of bus drivers. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a bus driver, please contact Assistant Principal Ms. Echel and she will be excited to help you get connected with the bus garage and the opportunity to drive.

The weather is okay this morning, so we'll continue with our Veteran's Day celebration as planned. Our annual Veteran's Day Ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. in the baseball stadium. Thank you.

For those Veterans planning to join us for our Veteran's Day Ceremony tomorrow, Tuesday, November 26th, please know we are closely monitoring the weather. Currently, there is a slight chance of rain tomorrow.
We will not decide to cancel or proceed until Tuesday morning, but we wanted to make you aware that there is a chance that the weather may impact the ceremony.

Attention, bus riders! Students who ride Bus 348 will ride Bus 355 this afternoon. Students from Bus 348 AND 355 will be riding 355 together. This could cause some students to get home a few minutes later than usual. Bus 317/332 will be dismissed at 2:15. They will arrive at their stops early.

Your scholar has been working hard to create an amazing piece of art for our annual Square1Art fundraiser. You have the opportunity to order your child's artwork on custom keepsakes.
