EOGs start this week. The EOG schedule is attached.
Remember that the EOGs are just one way our scholars can demonstrate all they've learned this year. Please take time to encourage your scholar to do their very best and apply all they've learned so that they will show significant academic growth. We know that they have learned so much, and they deserve to see their hard work pay off.
Please ensure your scholars get a good night's rest and have a positive, encouraging, and affirming morning before EOGs. Please avoid any extra stress in the mornings. Please also make sure they eat breakfast. All scholars have access to free breakfast here at school.
Make sure your scholar is on time for school. Our goal is to start testing promptly each morning. Scholars should arrive at school by 8:05 AM.
Please remember that scholars cannot have any electronic devices, food, or drink in the testing site. Please help prepare your scholar so they are ready to turn those devices in if they are not secured in a locker. Even if powered off, no devices are allowed in an EOG testing site.
Also, please encourage your scholar to leave their bookbags at home on testing days. Not having a book bag will help our mornings move quickly and allow us to start testing on time.
Please avoid needing to check your scholar out during a testing session. Scholars should remain in the testing site once an EOG is started.
Once again, we want EOGs to be as stress-free as possible. We want scholars to feel capable and confident to do their very best and show growth! Help us encourage our scholars, and please think of our scholars as they take their EOGs on those specific dates. Thank you for all your support.
